The Waycross KIWANIS Club is holding it's ANNUAL POINSETTIA Sale
This is a service project to raise funds to support and/or sponsor a number of activities that directly impact the Waycross community.  All of the profit the club raises through these sales are all reinvested in our community through the various projects and donations we undertake throughout the year. Each of our poinsettias is a mature, bushy plant with numerous blooms, wrapped in beautiful green foil.  You have a choice of poinsettia colors and prices which are listed on the order form attached to this email. WE DELIVER YOUR POINSETTIA ORDERS TO YOU FREE OF CHARGE!  Our regular deliveries will be on December 1st, 8th, and 15th.  (Deliveries prior to Thanksgiving or during Christmas week may be possible by special arrangement.  Please call first before making this request.)  We will gladly work with you to fulfill any special requests you may have.  To ensure availability of our hanging and triple baskets, please order these special plants for delivery by December 8th.

 The Jubalheirs are coming to perform a concert at Sweat Memorial Baptist Church at 7 p.m. Also performing will be the Jubalheirs Handbells. Jubalheirs is a female chorus of ministers of music, organists, pianists and others involved in music ministry in Georgia Baptist churches. The Waycross Middle School PTA is hosting the Dawgs Gobble Wobble 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk that will begin 8:00am at Waycross Middle. Satilla Regional Senior Behavior Center Host Free Memory Screenings
10:00 am - 4:00 pm Satilla Regional Medical Center 3rd Floor Classroom With memory concerns and successful aging major topics of concern for the aging population, especially as the first baby boomers turn 65 next year, the Senior Behavioral Center of Satilla Regional Medical Center is answering the call by offering free, confidential memory screenings and educational materials about brain health on November 15 in the 3rd floor Classroom of Satilla Regional Medical Center from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. The event is part of National Memory Screening Day (NMSD), an annual initiative that the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (AFA) holds each November during National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month. Approximately 2,000 sites across the country will be participating.

Full Moon Swamp Park Adventure with Don Berryhill
Following the success of the recent Harvest Moon Adventure at Okefenokee Swamp Park, plans are under way for a second "Full Moon Swamp Park Adventure" from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Participants are invited to come early and catch the live "Eye on Nature" show starting at 4:00 PM. Exploring the sights and sounds of the swamp will be accomplished on foot and aboard the park's open-topped train. Seating will be limited to 60 persons, with reservations required. It is suggested that you bring your own flashlight to explore the swamp. Tickets can be purchased on site. Make your reservations now.
